From 1st June 2022 Prescription Requests

You can now order your prescriptions in any of the following ways:

1. Repeat prescriptions - Register with your Local Pharmacy.

2. Register for our Online Service - New users to the system are required to complete a simple registration form to receive a unique online passcode. Available ONLY from our reception.

3. Place your prescription request in the box outside the Practice

4. If you are over 70 years old or housebound then will be more than happy to take your request over the telephone

Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are issued by the doctors enabling those patients who are on long term medication to obtain their prescription without making appointments.

We advise to Register with your local Pharmacy

Order Online. New users to the system are required to complete a simple registration form to receive your unique online passcode. Available ONLY from our reception.

Requests for medication can also be put in the box on the wall at the entrance to the practice.

Please allow five full working days at present for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Local chemists run a collection service or drop box service.  - Check with your local pharmacy. 

If you would like your prescription sent to a Pharmacy for collection then please allow 3-5 days for this process.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
